Recognizing the impact nurses make.
At APS Health & Infusion, we’re proud of the compassionate, skilled, and dedicated nurses who care for our patients every day. If one of our nurses has made a meaningful impact on your health journey, we invite you to share your experience.
Your story can help us spotlight the incredible care our nurses provide—and remind them that the work they do truly matters.

Why recognize a nurse?
-
✽
Show appreciation for outstanding care.
Nurses are often the steady hands and compassionate hearts guiding patients through complex health journeys. Taking a moment to recognize a nurse who went above and beyond—whether through clinical excellence or emotional support—is a powerful way to express gratitude and let them know their dedication didn’t go unnoticed.
-
✽
Uplift the stories of connection, healing, and compassion.
Behind every successful treatment or infusion is a story—often one filled with trust, encouragement, and care. Sharing your personal experience helps shine a light on these moments of connection that define the APS standard of care and inspire our entire team.
-
✽
Celebrate the quiet impact nurses make behind the scenes.
Much of what nurses do happens quietly, without fanfare. From thoughtful follow-ups to seamless coordination of care, their contributions are the foundation of our patients’ well-being. By nominating a nurse, you help bring well-deserved recognition to the essential—but often unseen—ways they serve and support others.
How it works:
-
✽
Share Your Experience
Use the nomination form linked below to tell us about your experience. Whether it’s a brief note of appreciation or a more detailed story, every submission helps us better understand the difference our nurses are making. There’s no “right” way to write your nomination—just speak from the heart.
-
✽
Monthly Review & Selection
At the end of each month, our leadership team thoughtfully reviews all submissions. From there, we select one nurse to be honored as our “Nurse of the Month.” Selections are based not on volume of nominations, but on the depth and impact of the care described by patients and families.
-
✽
Respectful Recognition
If a nurse is chosen to be featured, we will always reach out to them first for consent before sharing any part of your story publicly—whether on social media or within our internal team. We recognize that some nurses prefer to remain out of the spotlight, and we honor that choice fully.

Christina Norris, RN
Please join us in celebrating Christina Norris, RN, our August Nurse of the Month!
Chrissy knew from the age of three that she wanted to become a nurse. She made that dream a reality at 23 and has spent the last 22 years building a career defined by versatility, compassion, and heart.
She began in Telemetry and Med/Surg before working as a registry nurse, gaining hands-on experience in hospitals, surgery centers, and nursing homes. That wide-ranging background eventually led her to a pediatric dental surgery center, where she spent eight years caring for children.
Before transitioning to home infusion, Chrissy worked in an outpatient oncology infusion center—and it was there that she discovered a strong passion for infusion therapy. She now feels right at home in the field, where she deeply values the relationships she’s able to build with her patients.
Outside of work, Chrissy has been married for 18 years and is a proud mom to a 22-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter. Her daughter lives with a rare autoimmune disease called Polymyositis, and Christina says her nursing background has helped her navigate that journey with strength, knowledge, and grace.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, crafting, watching her favorite shows, and playing video games—but most of all, she treasures time spent with her close family and friends.
Thank you, Chrissy, for the warmth, dedication, and skilled care you bring to every patient interaction. We’re proud to have you as part of the APS team!

Since joining APS, she’s continued to provide exceptional care, while also filling in as an NP across four rural health clinics.
What she loves most about infusion nursing is the deep connection it allows her to build with patients and their families.
Her patients feel that connection, too. One shared:
“Angie never misses a dose. She has the best personality and the most loving approach to handling a very difficult patient. We’ve enjoyed her in our lives for three years now.”

Outside of work, Angie is a proud wife of 38 years, mom to six, and grandmother to 22—including one she helped raise who recently earned her BSN! When she’s not caring for patients or supporting her growing family, you’ll find her crafting, creating mixed media art, or tending to her three dogs, seven baby chicks, and a pig.
Thank you, Angie, for the joy, skill, and heart you bring to APS and the lives you touch every day!
